James Thrush Teaching in University of Washington's Game Development Certificate Program

SEATTLE, WA - 05/31/2002 -- James Thrush, lead developer and owner of Seattle-based Super X Studios (www.superxstudios.com), has joined the University of Washington's new Game Development Certificate Program to teach the second quarter of the four quarter game development series.

nvChessThe program, one of the first of its kind, targets software development professionals wishing to make the transition in the rapidly growing game development field. The second quarter course, on graphics engine development, covers topics ranging from scene graph management to advanced special effects like pixel shaders, bump mapping, and particle systems.
